Attractive commercial space station
The International Space Station is going to retire at the end of this decade, but the commercial space station is being built to start space tourism. The US space agency NASA is assisting in this and providing millions of US dollars to three companies to build a commercial space station.
Scientists hope that the commercial space stations could be used as an alternative to the International Space Station. That's why NASA-funded the three companies include US billionaire Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin, space agency Nanorodax and defense contractor Northrop Grumman.
The company has received 130 million, 160 million, and 125.6 million in funding to build three space stations. Earlier, NASA had provided 140 million US dollars to another company called Axiom Space.

The company is planning to build a space station by combining different modules and it will have various scientific research opportunities and tourism facilities. The companies did not give any kind of idea about the total cost of building the space station. However, McAllister said that the construction of the space station would cost less than 40 percent.
However, the Blue Origin authorities said that the initial funding was small.
The International Space Station is considered safe until 2028 and chief Nelson said that he hoped the International Space Station would be operational by 2030.
Space exploration, Competition in space
