Almost everyone knows the story of the theft of the pond, but that's the whole bridge theft! A 58 feet long bridge! Such incidents do not happen every day. And it's hard to believe that such an event would happen.

But Ohio police are shocked to learn that a 58-foot-long bridge has disappeared without a trace, according to a report in the British media Independent.

The 58-foot-long polymer-based bridge was located along a drain in the East Arkansas area of   Ohio, the report said. But on November 3 this year, locals discovered that the deck boards on the bridge had been removed. A week later, the whole bridge disappeared.

According to the report, in early 2000, the bridge was opened from the canal and placed on the adjacent land for other purposes. The bridge had been lying there for a long time. Then the thieves caught sight of the bridge.

Locals said bushes had grown around the bridge as it had been lying on the ground for a long time. The thieves first cleared the bushes. Then step by step the parts of the bridge are stolen. For this, they had to do regular exercises. Because it is not a small matter to make a huge bridge disappear.

The idea is that the bridge had to be torn down over time. Then they stole it.

But it didn't take long to steal such a big bridge. Mike Miller, a local police officer, was surprised that the theft was not noticed by the locals. He said he had never encountered such a strange event in his 22-year career.

In addition, polymers, the main building blocks, cannot be sold or recycled. So Mike is worried about what the thieves will do with this bridge.
