Apple is always trying to bring their flagship iPhone series smartphones to the market with some new features. For example, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were launched in 2018. These were the company's first phones to come with eSim support.
With this digital SIM card of iPhone, users get the benefit of using a virtual SIM along with a physical SIM. Although, recently it was heard that the ‘Pro’ models of the 2023 iPhone 15 lineup will not have any physical nano-SIM card slot.
Rather, the benefits of dual digital SIM cards will be available in next-generation smartphones. But now a new report is claiming that Apple's upcoming iPhone 14 series is coming with e-SIM support instead of the physical SIM card slot as expected.

iPhone 14 series smartphones can come with eSim support
According to MacRumors' new report, the iPhone 14 series phones will be launched in September 2022 with only e-SIM support or digital SIM. The mobile company Apple has already told major US network carriers to launch only e-SIM-enabled smartphones by September 2022.
The company is rumored to be bringing a new change with their latest iPhone 13 series. However, it is learned that some US network carriers will not give Nano-SIM cards in the retail boxes of some iPhone 13 models selected from the second quarter of 2022.
The company has already started selling iPhone 13 models without Nano-SIM in the box, to see if the product is being accepted by people through Apple Store or Apple.com.
However, people expect that the company Apple will continue to create iPhone models with physical SIM card slots in areas where e-SIM technology is not yet effective.
Earlier it was heard that Apple is planning to remove the Lightning port from their upcoming iPhone smartphones. Now if the physical SIM card slot is also removed from the new iPhone 14 series, then it is expected that these upcoming phones will have a new design and better water resistance.
